Sunset Hike n Tacos!

Venture out with us to Mount Hollywood Los Angeles, CA. We’ll park at Greek Theatre and Hike up from there.   Count on stunning city lights, sunset, and a really good Hollywood sign vantage point.  

Stop for Tacos on the way back home to the OC. Optional, wear or bring glow sticks for hike back down, day glow clothes are cool too, be fun and festive if you like. We’ll have a short dance party at the top then come back down and eat on the way home.

NOTE: Those coming from Orange County, we are meeting at 4:30PM to caravan @ REI Tustin location (2962 El Camino Real, Tustin, CA 92782)

Tentative Itinerary

1: 5:30PM Meet up at Parking Lot "just past the Greek Theater" (parking is free). It’s about a 55 min drive from Irvine to The Greek parking lot so plan accordingly. Check traffic stats and adjust the day off.

2: 6pm SHARP!!! Start Hiking to the top of Mount Hollywood Via Riverside Trail and Hog Back

    5 Miles out and Back, 1063ft of Elevation Gain (bring hiking poles if you got ‘em)

3: Post Hike Tacos at Taco Man, not mandatory, but you won’t want to miss out.
