Where is MOUNTAIN CONNECT located?

Our community is global! We have group members in countries around the world. The founder of MOUNTAIN CONNECT resides in southern California. She loves to travel the world to enjoy mountain activities and wanted to connect with locals and find friends from other areas to join in these adventure.  You can live anywhere and become a member. 

Why do I have to pay to be a member?

This is the fastest growing community of mountain and outdoor enthusiasts. We coordinate events, trips, mixers, community chat groups and even a group for singles! Your membership give you access to all of the events and ability to join any community chat group. Besides meeting new friends to share rides, rooms and runs with, the BIG PERKS are the members only discounts provided by our sponsors. We have an ever growing list of vendors who offer retail and hospitality discounts. These codes are only made available to paying members. Many chats and trips are only open to paying members.

How much is it to join?

Are you ready for it...$35 a year! That comes to only 10 cents a day.  This supports the efforts of the large team working across the country to ensure a great experience and fun opportunity for our members.  This fee is not automatically renewed. 

A member recently shared how much she SAVED during last year's ski/board season by being a member. Courtney made great connections where she was able to carpool with other members and split rooms. She received discounts on products and F&B being a member. In total, she calculated a savings of $2,300 for the season!!! All that just for joining and paying the $35 fee and actively connecting with fellow members. 

Are there any meet-ups happening in my area?

Become a member and find out! If there aren't any currently scheduled in your area, let us know where you would like us to organize a mixer! We will work on planning an event in the areas that our community needs them!

If I'm a paying member, do I also need to pay to go on the trips?

Yes, you are responsible for paying for any flights, accommodations, meals and experiences while on group trips.  The trips are organized and lead by our MOUNTAIN CONNECT team.  Having a big trip planned for you (Like our upcoming trips to Paris or skiing in Japan) are worth the $35 annual fee! We will help connect you with others going on the trip to see who can carpool to airports or will be on the same flights.
